How Shadow got his Name

Mom learned that I got the name Shadow because I like to chase my shadow, and anything else that moves.

 I was just minding my own business, guarding the cat food, when Mom took a picture.

It was for a good cause. Creating great art requires a cat to be the subject matter.

Well, back to guarding the cat food. Later I will inspect the couch and recliner to ensure it is comfortable to sleep on. A cat's work is never done.

 I really love boxes! The humans really liked the contents of the box. Mom knows a coworker who works for the Girl Scouts and was able to get a really good deal on cookies.  The favorites are Thin Mints and Caramel Delights. Mom also got Peanut Butter Patties.

I just want the box.

Saying Goodbye to Midnight

 It is with great sadness that we have to say goodbye to Midnight. He had crossed over to the Rainbow Bridge this past week. Mom was his favorite human. He showed this by constantly hanging out with her. He loved chasing cat treats and helping himself to dad's glass of water. He will be missed by everyone.

Gambit is the last remaining cat out of the original cats that started this blog back on Aug 17, 2011
